Read Across America Day at Gallopade

Hi Friends, Fans, and Fellow Bloggers, Gallopade has decided to re-vamp Read Across America Day! The entire publishing company is gearing up for our event on March 2, 2012! Please help spread the word! I can't wait to meet all of you and launch my newest book, The Great Train Mystery!

Here are some details:

On March 2, 2012, kids can attend a free author reading of The Great Train Mystery and (literally) read their way away across America with Carole Marsh! The Great Train Mystery, Marsh’s latest release in the award-winning mystery series, Real Kids! Real Places!, takes young readers across the United States, visiting some of America’s most interesting and historical places to solve a fun mystery along the way!

When:  Friday, March 2, 2012
10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Author meet & greet at Gallopade’s Educational Product Showroom / Mimi's Haunted Book Shop
10 a.m., 1 p.m., & 3 p.m. Group mystery- writing workshop sessions(1-hour long, Pre-registration required)
3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Author meet & greet and readings of excerpts from The Great Train Mystery; play Across the Country Mystery Trivia; tour Carole’s office

Cost:    Event is FREE; cost for the group Mystery-writing Workshop is $10 per child, with a minimum registration of 5 children per workshop session.
