Mesa Verde is an incredible historic site near Four Corners (Colorado); each December they fill the vast array of ruin rooms
with luminarias, including walkways to them and have holiday music under the cold winter sky; I want to be there!
Also want to ride the Durango-Silverton steam railroad right thru avalanche country... their Winter Cascade Train runs most of the winter winding through the San Juan mountains—tooooooot tooooooooooooot!
Recommending a book called Molokai'i by Alan Brennert, a great historical fiction of the time of leprosy in Hawaii...read it and tell me you have anything to complain about! While reading, I was on tv with a Brazilian armadillo, the only animal that naturally harbors leprosy! Today called Hansen's Disease, it still exist in the world and God bless health organizations trying to completely eradicate this devastating disease. Still, you will find joy and redemption in this amazing book!

take it" aka Getting Lost Can be Fun!
